How To Create A Successful Blog

Building a successful online business is easier than you think but it has to be constantly.

The best way to get started is to start a blog writing about something you are passionate about. It can actually be anything. No strings attached, but I also know people who are specifically writing for topics that they know have high search volumes and people are willing to pay more for it.

Personally, I think it's the best way to write about something you really like, because on the long go you will be much more willing to keep going also when there are tough times.

The hard thing about writing a blog however is not to start it, the tough thing is to keep going.

What I find very interesting regarding a blog is that it needs a lot consistency and endurance. I have seen hundreds of blogs that were started but after a few articles the person never ever wrote again. They are cruising through the internet like unmaned boats that do not sink and are empty like nutshells floating in the ocean, hoping for somebody to like them, and go on board. Unfortunately this never happens, because why should you? The content is old and there are no updates... nothing could lure you onto this pages.

The problem with blogs is, that most people think they will be successful with them over night. They think just because they woke up at 2am in the morning, after having a sweaty dream, and writing an article that they are succesful. The truth is a blog involves some planning, a great load of consistency and work.

Personally, I think a blog can just be succesful if it exceeds a certain amount of fresh content and has well written historical content as well. The problem is that most people want success virtually over night, this is just not possible... maybe for the ones who win a lottery but to be truely honest, how many lottery winners do you personally know? The chance of winning here is close to zero and even if you would win, do you think you could keep it or would you waste most of it?

The process of becoming wealthy slow is a process. I don't say that you have to wait until you are 60 years old, what I am saying is, that it won't happen over night, but I am convinced you can manage it in 5 years or maybe 10.

I know 2 guys that have become very wealthy by blogging, it tool them a period of 3-5 years to generate over 40k a month. Many people just make 40k a year, some 80k and how many are there that make 160k a year? Not many for sure.

So some key points for starting a blog is writing about a topic you are really passionate about.
Stay focused and keep writing (make a plan in which you fix how many posts you make each month)
Play a bit around on the blog interface (you could for example shorten your blog articles with a more tag to make it more enticing.

A more tag would cut off a part of your article and just show a short introduction of your post. I also use these.
Take a look at other popular posts and adapt your blog to some key elements.
Personally, I would not care about SEO too much. You might ad a H2 title in the article but really dont over-do it. The article should be natural readable.
